Licia,
Journaling your thoughts, actions, etc throughout the month are a great tool for working through things as well as getting them out of our head. But, for me, if I am planning on working around the power of the moon I will typically begin to journal more right before and while the moon is in that particular phase (i.e. new moon/ dark moon or full moon). Especially right before your period/moon time as these are items that can no longer remain dormant and inside. These are the feelings and situations that need to be released, recognized, and healed. At first it may seem awkward and somewhat overwhelming, especially if one has not released all along with the moon. But with each moon phase it gets less and less awkward. Remember the thing that we refuse to 'look' at gains power over us...but the things that we 'look' directly at looses it's power. It is process of reclaiming ones own inner power.

When you mean journal - things, items, words, actions that bother me during the month write them down? or how I am feeling during that week before my period. What is strange some months are whose then others and I really don't want to take something to calm me down.

The week before is preparing us for the release..It brings up all the things that we need to purge or work through. These are usually the things that we repress or manage the rest of the month. This is the kind of thing that you shoulkd journal and bring to the get togethers- so you can voice them to get clarity ad then surrender them.
We will be posting an event for the next new moon..

Not sure if the below info is in the correct place on your site Marianne or even if you want this kind of information. But I feel strongly about it and it needs to get out to all that menopause might affect and let the individual make the correct decision for themselves. No one is stating the Bioidentical hormones are any safer than the original. Ok is that my disclaimer statement LOL

Speaking of cycles and not motor. Mine's been missing for a while now. Yeah! But has anyone been watching Oprah? I have been enthralled by her discussions on bioidentical hormones. Since the time I normally should have been going thru the opposite of puberty I have been REALLY depressed, I blamed it on my life experiences which have always been a bit much. Not one doctor said, hey maybe your starting to go thru life changes. Throw me on antidepressants and send me on my way. I think I've been on all of them because none worked. Being that they discovered hormones caused cancer in, what the 60's thru the 70's, 80's, no one gave me that option. I have found a doctor in Elyria that practices in BHRT (Bioidentical) hormones. I am going to talk to her next month on the 18th and see first off how much and what she thinks. I suppose it doesn't matter how much if it will make me the person I was, happy, sense of humor and easy going.... instead of itchy B***tcy grumpy and hateful. There are more of 7 dwarf's but I can't remember them all. Anyone want more info, Oprah's mag this month has an article in it. The mag has her on the front cover holding cards. I will let you know what happens next month if anyone is interested. This all starts for most of us women in our mid 40's so you are never to young. I thought I was too and that's what everyone told me. We need to get our bodies back and demand more studies on this subject. Men are not the only populace to study.
