My husband recently bought a small pressure cooker at Marc's for only $20. This pot is great for quick meals! We cooked ribs in 15min., corned beef in 1 hour. Everything very tasty and did not have to wait hours and hours!

I am a very big crock pot cooking person! By time I get home from work other meals seem hard to get on the table in a descent amount of time. I just discovered a really great way to make a roasted chicken!

Take aluminum foil and squish into balls (lay them all of the bottom of slow cooker).
Wash your whole chicken and remove the insides (I save these to boil and make gravy). place minced garlic, onion and pats of butter in the cavity and under the skin. I sprinkled seasoning salt over the top ... you could use any spice you like. Place chicken on top of foil balls.
cover and cook on low for 10 hours. DO NOT ADD ANY LIQUID!!
this is such a tender chicken! I came home and made mashed potatoes and finished the gravy.
My family loved it! Let me know if anyone tries this and how you like it.

Tara, A tasty way to make pork chops for ya...
Place quartered potatoes in baking dish, place pork chops on top and cover with tomatoe sauce. Bake in oven at about 350 till potatoes are tender and chops are done. about 45 min. Gotta check them. I don't time things lol.

Jason, lol I've always said I hate those people that say "Oh I just forget to eat!" That's how I know my weight problem is more than food intake. I have NEVER forgotten to eat. Geeze, if it's not my belly talking to me than my brain is working overtime to remind me there is some kind of junk food out there. The more I attempt to diet the more my brain sabbotages me. Oh well, life goes on. And I think that's a good thing. ; ^ } Peggy

Taco Pie (a fav Weight Watchers recipe)

(1) 8oz. pkg. biscuits
15 oz. ground turkey
2 T chopped onion
2 T green pepper
(1) 8oz. can mushrooms
3/4 c. tomato sauce
3/4 c. water
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
4 oz. grated mozzarella cheese
Pepper to taste

Spray deep 9"x5" pan w/ Pam. Press biscuits into pan forming a crust. Brouwn turkey. Add onions, gr. peppers and pepper. After meat mixture is cooked, add tomato sauce, water, mushrooms and taco seasoning mix. Mix well. Pour on unbaked crust. Top w/ cheese. Bake @ 400 degrees for 15 min. or until crust is brown. Cut in 8 pcs.

Break down: 1 serving = 1 bread, 2 protein, 1/2 veg.
